I've tried the first three and can't figure out a solution. If I choose this option I am presented with some choices. But only windows 10 shows up as an operating system. Then a screen that's blank except for a background (that looks like a windows 7 style background) that says system recovery options.Īt this point it says I can 1) use recovery tools to fix problems starting windows. First I get a screen that says windows is loading files.
I tried to then attach my external drive that had my old windows 7 system on it that I used to migrate on to my new hdd with the hope of booting through that. And now o am just in a continual reboot loop After it goes black, it shows the percentage again in a blue screen, goes to 89 and keeps doing the same thing over and over again. Right now it goes from 68 to 89 and then black screens. I can't remember exactly what they were but I believe one of them was to restore to an earlier point. I started the reset last night at around 11:00 pm est, it is now been almost 12 hours and it hasn’t been completed yet. Upon first rebooting I came to a windows 10 looking screen that gave me a few options. Was stuck at 'resetting this lc 2%' for over 12 hours and now I am in a continual reboot loop.
